My Friends

Let me introduce you to my posse!

This is my buddy Jackson, taken on one of our
first play dates. I normally really like him,
but he sometimes steals the show with his smiling.
I really don't get what the fuss is all about. I mean,
smiling babies are cute, but what about the serious ones...

Here we are last week. Finally,
I'm not the only serious one in a photo.

Meet Truett and Callum. Adorable brothers but
seemingly a lethal combination, given Callum's bruises
on his head. My survival instincts warned me to feign a
smile and lean far, far away from both boys. They turned
out to be pretty sweet, but I don't regret playing it safe.

My parents recently subjected me to a mass play date
with some college friends and their babies... very entertaining to
say the least! Let's just say that I didn't know other
girls existed until this get together! Talk about shocking
and devastating! Naturally I gravitated toward the
only boy of the group, only to find out that he later
told his Mom that I have cooties! Ha! I'll remind him
of that when we're older!!!

Sweet Hannah. I had to share my Mom
with her for an entire day last week (that's a really
long time in baby land). She was silly and fun and nice.
We had a great day, just smiling and laughing.
And by that I mean - Hannah smiled and laughed
while I stared her down. She eventually won
me over and we're friends now!

And finally, I just have to show off my really
cute twin friends, Cami and Carmen!

Obviously, I didn't know what to think of them.
It was very confusing to have two of the same
face staring at you! I also might have been scared
about being dropped... it seemed very possible at the time.

"Uncle" Carey

Besides my real Uncles, who I obviously love,
I also love my "Uncle" Carey!

He came to visit me when I was really little!
(7 weeks old)

He is super cozy and I love his hands!

He took me on a Woodford Reserve tour.
I tried to get a sip of his drink, but he wouldn't let me!(10 weeks old)

He took me to the Hofbrauhaus where he and Daddy
drank beers that were bigger than me!
Again, he wouldn't share!
(15 weeks old)

But, the best thing about him (besides his gorgeous girlfriend
Ashley, who I also love)... He got me this awesome shirt when
he went to the Olympics in Vancouver! I have a feeling he
would've taken me with him to the Winter Games if I hadn't just
been born. Maybe next Olympics? Hint, hint... Uncle Carey,
if you really love me, you'll take me to the next Olympic Games!
(18 weeks old)

4 Month Stats

This is me before going to see the Doctor this morning.

Mommy didn't bother taking pictures after coming home.
Let's just say I didn't smile much for the rest of the day.
I mean, can you blame me?

The good news is i am growing REALLY well, and
except for a slightly low iron level, I am very healthy
and progressing nicely! And, according to my Dr., I
have a beautifully shaped head. But of course, I
already knew that! You're lookin' at perfection here people!

Official Stats:
26 inches (93%)
15 lbs. 9 oz. (84%)

Home from Vacation

I am home from vacation and it's back to work right away!

I mean, look at all this laundry I produced! It's a
good thing I'm around to keep my Mommy on task!
I'd hate to think how long it would take her if I wasn't around...

I really missed Marcel, my monkey!

But I missed Tilly, my turtle the most!
Someday, I will be able to fit her in my mouth.
Until then, we just make out a lot as I try to eat her!

It's good to be home!

Weekend Vacation

I took my first parent-free vacation this weekend!
WOO-HOO, let's P-A-R-T-Y!!!

I really enjoyed the freedom and spent most of the time naked,
just because I could!

Although, instead of two parents, I was surrounded by
LOTS of people who constantly talked to me and held me!

I didn't even get any privacy at the SPA!

But really, I just wore them out!

Meanwhile, Mommy and Daddy spent some time with
their wonderful friends from Indiana and Tennessee.

Somehow my Daddy convinced three other
sober adults that this pantyhose game that
Aunt Melissa sent from Japan would be fun.
Funny but weird!

My Daddy really likes to win,
so he brought his corn hole set.

Much to his surprise, Mommy brought her game and
they made it to second place in the final round.

Some much needed girl time for Mommy!

I don't even know what to say about this...
Sometimes, my Daddy is a little strange.
I think he may be a source of embarrassment
in about 12 years. I hope to have him better
trained by then!

Looks like we all had a great time, except for
when I screamed in my Mommy's ear the
whole way back from Ohio on Sunday. I just
wanted to bring her back to reality --
mission accomplished!
