I'm a country girl!

***read aloud with a country twang***

I came across an old John Deere tractor
during one of my evening walks this past month.
These things happen sometimes, when you
live in the great state of Kentucky.

I'm just the right size to operate this type of machinery!

Look out, here I come!

Here's another thing you might find here
in the great state of Kentucky... just a double
barrel shotgun I found in the neighbor's yard.

It don't look like much, but
she sure has a mean kick!

Grasshopper Pie

On very special occasions (ie: when Mommy is
making something super yummy), I like to help
her out in the kitchen! I'm her sous chef!

My primary expertise is in quality control...
or some might call it product sampling.
Either way, I just raise my finger
for a bite at any point in the process.

I am usually made to sign "please" or "more"
or some other nonsense like that. But this
time she asked me to dance for my next bite...
And I thought - WATCH OUT!

I broke out EVERY

OF

MY

MOVES!

I'll do anything for Grasshopper Pie!

Golf Lessons

Did you know that I come from a
long heritage of golfers?

Everyone in my family plays golf:
My Daddy & Mommy, Oma & Opa,
Grandmum (used to) & Granddad...
the list goes on.

It is only fitting that Opa bought me
my first set of clubs, a bag, balls and
even some practice holes for putting.

He gave me my first lesson too, naturally.

He explained all the elements and showed
me how to visualize a hole in one.

Proper stance is very important for a good swing.
Lining up the shot...

Back swing.

Push through the ball and follow
through, also very important.

F-O-R-E!

It's not my fault you got in the way of my ball!
I yelled FORE!

I have to admit that my favorite
club is the putter. Because its pink!

Thanks Opa, now I'm ready for the PRO circuit!

I LOVE golf!

Dress Up

We went to Ohio to visit my cousins and
to celebrate Madeline's 8th birthday!

I always have the best time with my cousins!
They have so many cool toys to play with.
But what I loved the most was playing dress up!

Why don't we have any dress up clothes Mom?!

Army dog with butterfly glasses, To The Rescue!

Sometimes its fun to dress down too!

Me and my Ducky

On a recent trip to see Grandmum
and Granddad, I made a new friend.
A ducky named Brio.

Brio was great at playing chase, always nearby
and faithfully following my every step!

My favorite thing about Brio is
his constant quacking, I always
knew he was right behind me!

I can't wait to go back and see him again!
I love you Brio!!!
