Bath Time Fun

I love bath time.

Obviously I like to be clean, but
it is so fun for many many reasons!

It has introduced me to octopus, which
is very tasty albeit a little chewy!

And turtle too. It tastes a little different
but also surprisingly a lot like chicken!

Turtle legs are especially yummy!

Sometimes I get carried away and start
chewing on anything in sight.

What can I say...
bath time does that to me!

Trick or Treat

Someone please explain...
I am forced to wear this costume THREE
times and I still didn't get any candy!

It made me feel better to know that others were
coerced into this misery too. Except they got candy!

Then I was taken to a party with very
scary people! In case you were wondering,
Batman is not my kind of superhero! Or,
a Hippy with a huge fro, or even Dorothy
from Wizard of Oz (although I did like Toto!).
Pretty much every costume freaked me out.
BIG time.

Luckily I found my friend Lily!
She was a honeybee.

Apparently honeybees really like flowers!
Although I'm starting to wonder if flowers like
honeybees... or least this one. Getting sniffed,
poked, clobbered and slobbered on is not fun.

Clearly, I am much happier with this costume!

And this one too!

If only all costumes were just a hat.

Or cute little kitten ears.

I'm hoping that next year I will at least
get some candy out of this ridiculousness!

My Cousins

Mommy and I took a trip to Ohio to
visit my cousins! I LOVE it up there!
I always get to try new things!


I got to drive all by myself!
And we all know how much I
like to be the boss of me!!!




They gave me yummy snacks!

And I got to play Wii!

We all went trick-or-treating!

They really know how to rake in the candy!

They even shared some with me!!!


Can't wait to go back!

Packing on the LBS!

Based on my size, you would only assume that I am
an avid eater with a vast array of favorite foods.

WRONG!

I will usually tolerate cereal, sweet potatoes and
squash and a very limited variety of fruits.
If it's green, you can just forget about it!

Sometimes they trick me and that nasty stuff gets in!

And no, I'm not opening my mouth for another bite.
I'm gagging! Trying desperately not to swallow!

I sustain myself on puffs and bottles.
Yea for puffs!!!

I LOVE puffs!

I could eat them all. day. long.

Jumping Fanatic!

I've enjoyed my jumper for quite some time.

Surely I'm a pro by now since I've jumped at

least once every day for the last 4 months.

But I've recently discovered the other joys of this contraption!

Twirling, for one, is a-m-a-z-i-n-g!

Dancing to music is also fun!

Hoping towards things, for example, the dog while
she is eating or drinking, is very fun!

I almost get her every time!

But my absolute fav is swinging!
I just hop forward, then lift my
chubby legs and swing - WEE!
SO FUN!

A Little Pumpkin in the Pumpkin Patch

It was a beautiful day so Mommy and Daddy took
me to the pumpkin patch to pick out my first pumpkin!

I had to make sure they
were good and sturdy!

There were so many to choose from.




So, Daddy walked me around
to show me all my options.





We even went out into the field to look at some!





I wanted both of these pumpkins and tried
to put them in our wagon. They are HEAVY!




After searching and deliberating...

I finally picked one!

I liked it because if I stood just right,
the wind would blow my hair!
(You have to look closely since my
hair blends in with the pumpkins!)

And, of course the paparazzi was
there to document the whole event!

8 Month Stats

I'm 8 months old!

It is so exciting to be this old!

I've started working on my cheerleading skills!

Toe touch - and hold...

But mostly, I am working on becoming mobile!

Sitting still is for babies!

My goal is autonomy.

But Mommy keeps thwarting my plans!

Someday I will be the boss of me!
